Set up an Authorized Payer
Only the student can add an Authorized Payer in Transact.
If you are not the student, send him or her a link to this page or fill out this form.
To Set up an Authorized Payer
- Log on to www.hokiespa.vt.edu
- Choose 'Hokie Wallet' Menu
- Choose 'View and Pay eBill'
- Choose 'My Account'
- Under Payers, choose 'Send a payer invitation'
- Enter the payer’s information and ensure 'Allow access to statements' is checked
- Select 'Send invitation'
The authorized payer will receive an email once the student has given them access, which includes a link to log in and set their password.
Next, the Authorized Payer will receive an email. They will need to:
- Click the link in the email.
- Create permanent password.
