Set up an Authorized Payer

Only the student can add an Authorized Payer.


If you are not the student, send him or her a link to this page or fill out this form.

To Set up an Authorized Payer

  1. Get the email address of the person you want to authorize.
  2. Log in to Hokie SPA
  3. Choose Hokie Wallet Menu
  4. Choose View and Pay e-Bill
  5. Choose Authorized Payers
  6. Choose Add New (maximum 5 Authorized Payer accounts)
  7. Enter New Authorized Payer Information
    • Enter username and email.
    • The authorized payer will receive an email once the student has given them access, which includes a link to log in and set their password. This must be completed within 48 hours.
  8. Select Add

Next, the Authorized Payer will receive an email. They will need to:

  1. Click the link in the email.
  2. Create permanent password.
