What is the Budget Tuition Plan?
Pay part or all of your tuition, fees, dining and housing in monthly installments during the semester.
- Payable through U.S. or domestic bank draft only, no credit cards
- $450 minimum balance due to enroll
- $45 application fee per semester (non-refundable)
- Automatically adjusts for credits and charges placed on account (email bursar@vt.edu for application of debit to time sensitive charges such as parking tickets)
- Can be combined with financial aid, loans or scholarships
- Receive email notice 10 days before with amount to be withdrawn
- No late fees or penalties

The spring Budget Tuition Plan opens in mid-December. The spring payment plan offers 4 -monthly installments due on

NOTE: Outstanding balances not satisfied by the payment deadline date will be subject to further penalties such as a late payment fee and account hold. Failure to make financial arrangements by the 10th day of classes may result in dismissal.
